Insel is a Director and co-founder of Meir with 30+ years experience in international HR with a broad ranging set of skills.

He has worked extensively in line HR management roles, including roles as HR Director with Granada and EDS.

He has also worked as a senior consultant at a number of consulting practices, including Ernst & Young, as well as establishing his own consulting practice.

His specialization has been in the area of performance and talent management and he has developed a competency-based performance management and job evaluation system that now underpins the Meir survey process.

Insel has conducted consulting assignments in Europe, the Middle East and West and North Africa. Among his successes include global projects for a major bank; pan-European project for a major Aerospace company; numerous projects on the African continent including gold mines, air traffic control; and the only nuclear plant
on the continent.

His passion to see Reward and Talent Management simplified and better integrated resulted in the creation of the MEIR ‘Job Architecture’ process, built around a unique core model’ serving all aspects of the people management process. It has been tried and tested in the field over the last 20+ years and has proven to be
very robust. It’s also evolved to a point where it is comparable with all other alternatives available.
